FlixFluent is a Chrome browser extension that provides language learning tools for Netflix, including: Dual subtitles (original language and your native language). AI-powered word and sentence deconstruction. Contextual hover translations. Vocabulary saving and learning progress tracking. Playback controls for language learning (auto-pause, speed adjustment). The Service requires a paid subscription after a free trial period. The Service is provided "as is" and availability may vary.
3. Netflix and Third-Party Content
FlixFluent is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Netflix Inc. in any way. FlixFluent is an independent tool that enhances the Netflix viewing experience for educational purposes. You must have your own valid Netflix subscription to use FlixFluent. FlixFluent processes subtitles displayed in your browser locally to provide language learning features. All subtitle content belongs to Netflix and its respective licensors. We respect Netflix's terms of service and intellectual property rights. FlixFluent does not download, store, redistribute, or modify Netflix content. The extension operates as a browser overlay that provides additional educational context to subtitles as they are displayed.
4. Eligibility and Account
4.1 Age Requirements You must be at least 13 years old to use FlixFluent. Users under 16 in the EU require parental consent. Users under 18 must have parental permission to use payment methods. 4.2 Account Responsibilities You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One account per person.
5. Subscription and Payment
5.1 Pricing FlixFluent offers a 7-day free trial followed by a monthly subscription of $17 USD. Prices may be subject to change with 30 days notice. 5.2 Billing Payment is processed by Stripe. Subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis. You will not be charged during the free trial period. 5.3 Cancellation You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting . Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. 5.4 EU Consumer Rights If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day withdrawal right from the date of purchase. Contact for withdrawal requests.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension. (b) Use the Service for any unlawful purpose. (c) Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements or usage limits. (d) Redistribute, resell, or share access to the Service. (e) Interfere with the operation of Netflix or any other streaming platform. (f) Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers with the Service. (g) Use the Service for commercial purposes beyond personal language learning. Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Content All features, functionality, design, and branding of FlixFluent are owned by Flixfluent Co. Ltd. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. 7.2 Third-Party Content Subtitle content displayed through Netflix belongs to Netflix and its respective content licensors. AI-generated learning materials (translations, grammar explanations, deconstructions) are generated for your personal educational use only and may not be redistributed.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with: Netflix: For subtitle display and language learning. We are not affiliated with Netflix. Google/Microsoft: For account authentication via OAuth. Stripe: For payment processing. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or terms of any third-party service. Your use of Netflix is subject to Netflix's own terms of service.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that: The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service will be compatible with all Netflix content or languages. Language learning results will meet your expectations. The extension will remain compatible with future Chrome or Netflix updates. FlixFluent is a language learning aid, not a replacement for formal education. Results vary by individual.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flixfluent Co. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months prior to the claim. These limitations do not apply to: death or personal injury from our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or violations of applicable consumer protection laws. If you are a consumer in the EU, you retain all statutory rights that cannot be waived.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We are committed to GDPR compliance and minimal data collection. We do not sell personal data.
